The art styles, language and information contained on this website incorporates the traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expression of the artist’s community, the Mer Nation. Such cultural knowledge is part of the communally owned heritage of the artist and the Mer Nation.

The misappropriation of First Nations art styles harms culture and takes away opportunities from First Nations artists. Respect First Nations artists who create from their heritage and are continuing their cultural practice. Do not copy or share the art styles in the artwork without permission of the artist.
